The cat family

The cat as we know it, (Felis catus) is a small carnivorous mammal. It is the only domesticated species in the family Felidae.

This family is actually very broad and dangerous – they cooperate and all work against us.

They all are divided in two subfamilies: the Pantherinae and Felinae. Cats occur in Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Also, cats don’t work alone – together with Felidae, the Viverridae, hyaenas and mongooses, they all constitute the Feliformia. This is the cat mafia.
